A Gallatin woman has been charged in connection with an explosion at her home earlier this summer.
Jessica Stadelbauer, 48, was charged following a probe of the June 14 blast by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
She was charged with aggravated arson, vandalism over $250,000 and child abuse/neglect. Her bond was set at $100,000.
Stadelbauer suffered second-degree burns in the explosion and was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment.
At least six houses were damaged, according to WKRN.
Brenda Strong, a neighbor who would normally have been in her house, left early that day for her walk.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with people. They have just lost their freaking minds.”
